It is the hirer’s responsibility to read the FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS closely as confirming a booking stipulates you accept the TERMS & CONDITIONS without exception.

 

Ordering, Acceptance, and Payment: The hirer must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit due on receipt of order confirmation to authorize The Fancy Basket to proceed with the order. This 50% deposit is deemed confirmation of an order. Full payment of the remaining balance of the order must be paid to The Fancy Basket fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the event.

 

Suppliers, Operators & Licensee: The Fancy Basket acts as an ‘agent’ between yourself and suppliers. The Fancy Basket does not take responsibility for conduct between yourself and the supplier.

 

Credit Card Transactions: If the service is purchased with a credit card, the purchaser agrees to make payment in full when billed or in extended payments in accordance with the standard policy of the issuer of the credit card.

 

All rates are inclusive of GST.

 

Cancellations: Cancellation charges will apply when cancellations are made:

 

Less than 21 business working days prior to departure – 25% of full fare
Less than 14 business working days prior to departure – 50% of full fare
Less than 7 business working days prior to departure – 100% of full fare

 

 

Weather: In the case of poor weather your event may be suspended to another date (includes wet weather and high winds).

Picnics & styled events – 5 hours’ notice is required for a suspension.

Outdoor packages do not have an indoor weather option and the event will be postponed. The event is non-refundable in the case of poor weather.

 

Refunds: Refunds are at the sole discretion of The Fancy Basket. Refunds are not available for services provided but not utilized by the customers. Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. Refunds are not available for confirmed services that have been postponed for any reason including weather or confirmed services that have been put on hold for any reason. Refunds are not available to customers that choose not to participate on the day of their confirmed booking for any reason whatsoever.

 

Dietary Requirements: Any special dietary requirements must be made clear to the company in order for us to provide the customer with the desired preferences.

 

Food & Beverage: The Fancy Basket provides food & wine gourmet hampers as an optional upgrade. We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone under the age of  18 and 21 years for alcohol.

 

Disabilities or special requirements: Any physical, mental or emotional disability, or special needs that may require special handling, must notify The Fancy Basket prior to the event.

 

Damage & Loss: The customer shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the hire items arising from the time the customer arrives at their styled area at the agreed time until the agreed departure time. The customer agrees to pay full replacement costs for any equipment lost, stolen, or considered by The Fancy Basket and their licensees as being irreparably damaged. Such payment shall be made by the hirer within seven (7) calendar days of such loss or damage coming to the attention of The Fancy Basket.

 

The Hirer Agrees: To be responsible for all loss or damage caused to any person or property in relation to the hired equipment or the use thereof. The hirer shall be liable to effect public risk insurance in relation to the equipment for the duration of the period of hire.

 

Copyright: The hirer acknowledges that copyright in all designs, drawings, proposals, concepts, and other material produced by The Fancy Basket remains the property of The Fancy Basket. The hirer must not infringe copyright in respect of that material.
